What browser storage means
Cookies are small pieces of data that a website can place in your browser and that may accompany later requests. LocalStorage is a separate browser feature that can retain information for a website between visits. Both can be used for preferences, and both should be considered when reviewing storage on a device.
What the journal’s features use
The journal’s navigation, expandable questions, scroll effects and local correspondence tool do not set cookies or write to localStorage. They do not require an account. The supplied editorial code includes no analytics, advertising trackers or third-party embeds, and no non-essential tracking is needed to read the articles.
The contact draft exists in the page while you use it. Copying sends text to your device’s clipboard only when requested; downloading creates a file only when requested. Those are device actions, not cookies. Your browser may separately retain form content or download history according to its settings.
Consent controls
A consent interface supplied separately with the live website may remember your acceptance or refusal in browser storage so the same question is not repeated unnecessarily. A record of a consent choice is not permission to create a hotel guest profile. Any optional technology introduced to the live service must be described and, where required, remain inactive until you consent.
Where a consent control is displayed, use its available choices to accept or decline optional storage. Declining optional technology should not prevent access to the journal’s ordinary editorial pages. The journal itself does not provide booking personalisation or marketing profiling.
Managing storage on your device
- Open your browser’s privacy or site settings.
- Find the stored data and permissions for quivabubblecacts.site.
- Review or remove cookies and other site storage, including localStorage if listed.
- Reload the site. Removing a remembered consent choice may cause a separately supplied consent interface to ask again.
Browser menu names vary. Blocking all storage can affect other websites or any separately supplied preference controls. Clearing site data does not automatically remove downloaded text files, clipboard content or emails you have already sent. Manage those separately on your device or with your email provider.
